Tim Robinson
is an experienced physiotherapist has been in the
industry since 1987 and recently qualified in Functional
Capacity Evaluation. Tim is also experienced in Jaw/TMJ/facial
pain dysfunction, child & adolescent physiotherapy. He
has an interest in sports medicine and has worked with
elite teams including the All Blacks and Waikato
Chiefs. He is a PGA registered golf rehabilitation
specialist with particular interest in biomechanics and
injury specific training.
Margaret Gillett
is
a physiotherapist with over 20 years experience. Her
areas of special interest include Incontinence &
Ergonomics. She has extensive experience in workplace
ergonomic assessments, real time ultrasound assessment
of core muscles, pelvic floor, respiratory breathing
conditions, hip, shoulder, knee and elbow. Bobath
techniques as it relates to retraining improved movement
and posture, fitball and pilates programs in the
management of osteoarthritis.
David Kempthorne
is qualified in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy,
Manipulative Therapy & Acupuncture for physiotherapy.
David’s interest areas are in the effective management
and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, particularly
in relation to cervical spine headaches and dizziness.
Other areas include mobilisation and exercise
particularly involving lumbar spine, hips and knees in
the more elderly patients.
Gemma Edelmann:
Gemma is a physiotherapist with pilates experience. She
has worked in a busy musculoskeltal private practice
with full onsite gymnasium inc pilates equipment. She
has done orthopaedic in-patient work for pre & post
operation sessions. She is skilled in sports injuries,
manual & trigger point therapy and chronic pain
management.
Pilates Instructors:
Nadine Kent, Su Bernays & Aleisha Wade . Our instructors
have internationally recognised qualifications. Whether
your just wanting to get fit or enhance your sporting or
dance careers our girls can help you. Age is no
barrier.
Massage Therapist:
Caroline Goodwin. We have Massage available at both
Cooroy & Woombye. They are all extensively trained in
deep tissue , lymphatic & remedial massage & is also
trained in Bowen Therapy & reflexology.
